Commissioned by the Russian World Gallery as a gift to the legendary ballet dancer Maya Plisetskaya for her 70th birthday. The pin portrays the ballerina in her famous role of a Dying Swan. Even though the pin is only a few inches high, the facial emotions are clearly expressed and can be seen with a loupe magnification, thus showcasing Alex Soldier’s superb mastery in his work with the miniatures.
