Party With The Cast Of Versailles

Party With The Cast Of Versailles

Monte-Carlo, Monaco—The next day following the grandiose opening ceremony of the Monte-Carlo Television Festival continued with a spectacular celebration of the newest Versailles TV series, held at the lagoon of Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the deep blue sea and Monaco skyline, the atmosphere was infused with fresh breeze and sounds of disco. We knew that we were in good company as soon as we recognized the DJ from previous night's Royal After Party, who skillfully mixed retro and modern tunes, entertaining us to the last drop of Dom Perignon.

The daylight was lazily waning into the dusk, with the sun's concluding rays gently caressing the serene surface of the turquoise pool, filling the air with magic of the coming evening. As we were enjoying our exceptionally gratifying, chilled-to-perfection white wine and some superbly delicious gourmet buffet, prepared by the best chefs of Monaco, we spotted two lovely looking young men sitting next to us with rather familiar faces.

At first, it was somehow challenging to pinpoint where exactly we've seen them before, until it finally dawned on us that the reason for our momentary lapse of memory was due to the fact that we're used to seeing them with a much longer hair.... After this realization, it became crystal clear that they are the main actors from one of our favorite new television series- Versailles! And so we were compelled to immediately come over and introduce our humble selves to their Majesties: Louis XIV, King of France (played by George Blagden) and his handsome brother Philippe I, Duke of Orleans (played by Alexander Vlahos).

After sharing a few laughs and behind the scenes insights from the show with our infinitely charming new friends, we danced the night away to the tunes of "Despacito" and "Shape Of You". The dance floor was radiant with alluring, joyful and buoyant people from around the world that came to celebrate life and make new friends in the process. It was truly an unforgettable night of new beginnings.
