Austin, TX—Legendary jewelry artist, sculptor and visionary, Alex Soldier, was honored at a private exhibition held at the UMLAUF Museum and Sculpture Garden in Austin, Texas. Set in a beautifully open, sunlit space overlooking the garden with sculptures by Charles Umlauf, the event celebrated Alex Soldier's extraordinary talent with a spectacular performance by Grammy-winning vocalists Mela Sarajane Dailey and Carr Hornbuckle.

Attended by the city's top patrons of the arts, the evening was hosted by Sarah Story, museum's Executive Director, who instantaneously won the audience's hearts with her charm and impeccable style. "We're honored to celebrate a remarkable work of a remarkable man, who is internationally recognized as one of the most innovative designers of our time. A self-taught and self-made artist and inventor that revolutionized jewelry industry by introducing novel techniques and vision," said the lovely host in her opening remarks about Alex Soldier. The celebration continued well into the night as guests studied in awe and admiration the myriad details that formed the versatile work of a true genius.
