Made in New York Jazz Competition links participants and legendary jazz masters that select the winners and award them with valuable prizes. Using technology and social media power, this competition gives artists from all over the world a chance to expose their talent to thousands of jazz fans, showcase their music to jazz legends and become part of the international jazz community with participants from 55 countries and growing. The chosen participants are invited to the capital of Jazz, New York City, where they live “THE EXPERIENCE” and perform together with jazz masters on one stage. Made in New York Jazz Competition strives to create a unified structure that will increase the global awareness for jazz music and its aspiring musicians. Since the project's inception, Alex Soldier has demonstrated his support for Made in New York Jazz Competition and its participants by creating a special Grand Prize awarded annually to its winners. 

Musicians: Wayne Escoffery is a Grammy Award winning tenor saxophonist and one of the jazz world’s most talented rising stars. Manuel Valera is a Grammy nominated pianist and composer has become well known in the NYC modern jazz scene. Joey Morant  is one of the most exciting and dynamic trumpeters in today's jazz world. Joey Morant works as a soloist and as a part of larger bands and orchestras, including the Lincoln Center Orchestra and the Harlem Blues Jazz Band. Federico Malaman is an internet sensation with over million video views is a bass, double bass player, arranger, and composer. Roberta Piket has played professionally with David Liebman, Rufus Reid, and has been a featured guest on National Public Radio's program Marian McPartland's Piano Jazz.
